What is the mKainos Winter Retreat?

Retreat is a special time for college-aged students from across the United States to spend a meaningful time together over the holidays. mKainos desires to create a space for students and young professionals to gather over the holidays to celebrate, share, and network during their Christmas break.

Who is eligible to register for the retreat?

All college and post-college MKs (Missionary Kids) living in the USA are eligible. Space is limited so you must receive a confirmation email to secure your registration.

What are the criteria for receiving a confirmation letter? 

Participants with the following qualifications will be prioritized:

• College underclassmen

• First-time retreat applicants

• Early applicants

• Applicants with limited experience in MK care

How long should I wait for a confirmation letter? 

The registration team will be sending registration confirmation letters on a rolling basis. If you do not hear from the registration team within 10 days of registration, please contact the registration team for an update.

Will there be an airport pick-up?

We do not provide direct pick-up from the airport. Participants are encouraged to use ride-sharing services and airport shuttles for transportation. 

Housing accommodation before/after the retreat?

mKainos will not be providing housing before and after the retreat.
